Bartholomew lived at the William Wayne Public Library in between Alice in Wonderland and The Three Musketeers. One day a little girl discovered him while searching the library shelves for a book to read. Her brother didn't believe her but when he took a closer look he was amazed to discover a talking bookworm. Ms Dubois, the children's Librarian thought Charles was fibbing but when she discovered the talking Bookworm,the William Wayne Public Library has never been the same again!

Jewelz the Juggling Cat

When seven-year-old Lucy Fletcher discovers a mother cat giving birth to a litter of kittens by an old brick building near her school, she notices the tiniest kitten having trouble shooing his brothers and sisters out of the way to get his share of the milk. Lucy promises to take the kitten home and feed him for the mother cat. But how can she convince her own mother to allow her to keep the kitten? Her mother does not allow Lucy to keep the kitten and together Lucy and her father return the kitten to the mother cat. But to everyone's surprise the kitten returns the next day on Lucy's doorstep. Seeing how happy her daughter is, her parents allow her to keep the kitten. Then they discover that this kitten's got talent!
